Food, food, glorious food. New Zealand has an incredible food scene, with cafes and restaurants dotted all over, you never have to go to the same place twice! And with that we have an amazing bunch of guys and gals posting on Instagram about their food adventures, right around the country. The rise of foodie Instagrams has been insane over the last couple years. Who knew that people would be able to make a brand for themselves over a love of food. #Goals.
Eating food and trying new restaurants is definitely one of my favourite hobbies. To find the best new spots to try I often head to Instagram to see where my favourite foodies are frequenting. These are my top five New Zealand foodies on Instagram – you’ll want to check them out to find the best feeds around.
Forking Yum
Forking Yum, a.k.a. Emily, has one of the most extraordinary foodie Instagrams. Currently studying in Wellington but often coming back up to Auckland in her breaks, Emily knows all the top spots of (arguably) the two best food cities in the country. With a focus on a balance between healthy eating and treating yourself, Forking Yum is a positive foodie ‘gram with beautiful pictures that’ll have you filled food envy.
Hadlow Girls
Everyone in the know knows the Hadlow Girls. They’re stunning, they take gorgeous food imagery, and they know all the best spots to eat (locally and abroad). The sisters’ account should be your go-to when wanting recommendations for the top grub spots.
Bunny Eats Design
Bunny Eats Design is a beautifully curated Instagram (stemming from a blog of the same name) created by Genie. Being a food photographer means that the images on her ‘gram are absolutely stunning! Genie has a mixture of pictures that she’s taken at some fantastic restaurants but also many images of dishes she’s makes herself.
Wellingnoms
For all those Wellington foodies out there, this is the ‘gram you want to be following! With a collection of posts all about the fantastic chow that the capital city has to offer you won’t want to miss out on this one.

Last, but definitely not least, we have Georgie Eats. An Auckland gal with a superb taste in what’s hot in the foodie world. She’s definitely one of my top sources for finding the best Auckland eats – and her blog is just as epic as her ‘gram.
