Bombay Sapphire presents The Botanical Bazaar pop-up
For five nights from the 1st to the 5th of November Fresh Factory in Eden Terrace will be transformed into market stalls. The event will feature five food and cocktail stalls that have been curated by Bombay Sapphire’s spirits ambassador, Chase Bickerton. Along with Jamie Johnston who is the man behind pop-up sensation Judge Bao.
The market stalls are all influenced by different flavours from Spain, Italy, Germany, China and Morocco. The significance of these countries is that they are where Bombay Sapphire sources some of their ten botanicals that are infused to create their premium gin.
Some of the tasty cocktails include the Moroccan influenced sunset sapphire tea with dry ice, matched with harrisa roasted chicken wrapped in thin filo pastry and served with a preserved lemon and pistachio labne.
Each stall is inspired by a different country and the spirits are created to compliment the food. During the five days there will also be live music from some top Auckland DJ’s. Tickets to the event cost $45 and include two food and drink tokens.
