National Waffle Day Is Coming To New Zealand
Brace yourselves waffle lovers- because this Thursday is national waffle day. This historic American event began in the 1800’s when on the 24th of August the first waffle iron was given to a New Yorker.
Now national waffle day is on its way to New Zealand thanks to Orleans Bar.
This is the perfect chance to enjoy this tasty breakfast food at any time of the day!
The details:
This Thursday from 12-10pm Orleans on Customs Street East, Britomart and Orleans in Christchurch will make our waffle dreams come true.
There’ll be some tasty offers of, banana split waffles, maple bacon waffles, crispy pork belly waffles, and rocky road waffles.
The waffles will also be served at special prices for this historical event.
So if you’re a fan of waffles and having breakfasts for dinner, make sure to check this out. If you’re not in Auckland or Christchurch never fear!
You can still get in on the waffle celebrations by trying your hand at making some of your own. Or buying some from a supermarket if you’re anything like me in the cooking department.
