The High Note
If you’re looking for something a little feel-good to pick you up during winter, The High Note may be just the ticket. Following the struggles of an overworked personal assistant to a popular R&B singer, this film has all the romance, conflict and self-discovery warm fuzzies you need. Maggie Sherwood, played by Dakota Johnson, is an aspiring music producer secretly remixing her R&B singer boss Grace Davis’ (played by Tracee Ellis Ross) music in her spare time. Seeing an opportunity to revive Grace’s career, as well as progress her own, the pair come up with a plan to make their ambitions come true.

Attenborough Month
The hardest working man in the world of natural history broadcasting is getting a whole month dedicated to him on Animal Planet this July. Aptly named Attenborough Month, the series showcases Sir David Attenborough’s best moments and stories about all the natural world has to offer. At 94, Attenborough has a pretty long CV and highlights for the month include Shark Coast, Kingdom of Plants and Snow Leopards: Beyond the Myth.
Showing on Animal Planet, every weeknight in July at 7.30pm
