Colette

A period piece based on the true story of one woman’s fight for recognition for her work after her author husband takes credit for her best-selling books. Moving to Paris after growing up in rural France, Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette is immersed into the city’s artistic and intellectual scene after marrying Willy. Colette begins to ghost write for Willy and once he takes credit for the success of the novels, it spurs her to fight for her creative ownership and defy gender roles.
