Sailing in Splendour
You’ve seen the luxury hotel suites, set on the towering floors of a five-star hotel, with premium quality, hand-crafted living quarters. Beds sheets of endless thread count and furnishings decorated with an opulent and over-the-top finish worth more than gold. If only that same, stale, view of the glistening international city below it would change.
Well, Regent Seven Seas Cruises are here to save you from suffering through another uninspiring city skyline again. The Regent Suite on the 14th floor of the Seven Seas Splendour has all the luxuries of a five-star hotel suite, with the added bonus of an ever changing 270-degree view over the ship’s bow as you sail throughout Europe. The largest suite ever built on a luxury cruise ship offers guests 412-square metres of absolute elegance, including an in-suite Italian marble and stone-decorated spa room, with its own sauna, steam room and treatment area for your complimentary unlimited spa treatments. Accommodating up to six guests, the suite is an entertainers dream, with a fully-stocked bar and personal butler to serve Veuve Clicquot as guests soak away in the custom-made Treesse mini pool spa.
Completing the suite is the US$200,000 Vividas bed, custom-made by master artisans of the famed Hästens brand. With a pinewood frame, steel springs, and layers of flax, horsetail hair and cotton and wool batting, the king-sized continental bed is the result of over 300 hours worth of labour over an 18-month timeframe. And when the Seven Seas Splendour docks at each of its prestige European destinations, a personal driver is there to take the esteemed guest to tour the stop-over city.
Due to set sail in February 2020, with an all-inclusive price of $11,000 twin share, per night, luxury travellers can experience all the perks of penthouse living with the bonus of an ever changing backdrop.
