This Airport Makes Travel Tranquil
While travelling is meant to be a relaxing experience, going through a busy airport can be frustrating and anxiety-inducing. Long queues, delayed flights and a maze of terminals is not exactly a stress-free way to start a holiday. However, Singapore’s Jewel Changi Airport is set to make your travel woes go away with its newly opened Canopy Park.
Set over 14,000 sqm, the park includes seven attractions and gardens, setting a scene of tranquility and relaxation before you venture off to your next destination. The architecturally-designed space includes over 1,400 trees and palms, with the world’s largest indoor waterfall, shopping and dining locations, and accommodation.
Keep kids entertained in the Discovery Slides play area, with eight different slide attractions and a viewing platform over the Shiseido Forest Valley.
Petal Garden features beautiful floral displays, while Topiary Park features animals including crocodiles, elephants and peacocks.
Ticketed attractions include the Hedge and Mirror Mazes, where visitors can get lost amongst a hedge setting or challenge themselves in a garden featuring mirrors both above and below themselves.
For those looking for a view, the Manulife Sky Nets is not for the faint hearted with an outlook of up to 25 metres over the airport, while the Canopy Bridge takes visitors over a glass panel, 23 metres in the air.
With a space as tranquil and relaxing as Canopy Park, maybe now your next stopover will put you in holiday mode before you even reach your final destination.
