Everything To Watch This Autumn
Disney’s Snow White
The live action romp continues with this remake of a classic. Rachel Zegler steps into the title role while Gal Gadot stars as the Evil Queen. Apart from buckets of CGI dwarves I’m going to have to suspend my belief that Gadot is only the second fairest of them all. The movie is directed by Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer) with writing by Greta Gerwig hot off the back of the Barbie film.

Mozart’s Sister
Mozart wasn’t the only Mozart. This documentary pulls back the curtain on his sister, forgotten by time but possibly just as talented as her brother. Her father wrote she was one of the best pianists in Europe, but nevertheless was forced to retire at 15 or 16 due to the indecency at the time for women to perform publicly. There seems little doubt she probably helped her little brother grow into the musician he would later become. In her 50s, now retired, she returned to playing in court. The documentary follows this story and seeks to discover whether she had continued composing the entire time, in secret.
