Michelin Madness & The Latest Foodie News
Any foodie knows that a Michelin Star restaurant is where you’re guaranteed a dining experience to remember. Sadly for us here in New Zealand, dining at one such establishment would require a passport and a plane ticket as the famed restaurant reviewers are yet to publish a guide here.
Luckily for us, SO/ Auckland’s Harbour Society restaurant is bringing the Michelin Stars to Auckland for seven days only this Spring. The event, which will gather six Michelin-Starred chefs from across the globe, will showcase the skills of a different culinary genius each day offering diners lunch, dinner and a masterclass.
On the final night of the event, the chefs will come together for a 12 hand dinner, treating diners to a six-course meal with wine pairings. Featuring 2-Michelin starred chef, Michel Portos, as well as 1-Michelin starred chefs, Yuseke Goto, Geoffery Poesson, Julian Diaz, Jean Francois Berard, and Harbour Society’s own Marc De Passorio, this culinary extravaganza is not one to be missed.
Harbour Society, SO/ Auckland; 30 September – October 6.
Sugar Free Socialising
We’ve all heard the long list of health benefits of drinking kombucha. From being a source of probiotics to containing a large amount of antioxidants, Kombucha is the go-to drink for the health-obsessed. And now the Kombucha lovers amongst us can keep their social drinks clean as well with the Kombucha-infused vodka drink, Happy Booch. Using Good Buzz Kombucha – which is low in sugar – and combining it with charcoal-filtered New Zealand vodka, Happy Booch is giving wellness gurus another option during the upcoming social season. Coming in a four pack with three flavour options – Raspberry Lemon, Pineapple Mango, and Lemon Ginger – those Kombucha fiends out there are in for a treat.

With all natural ingredients and no added cane sugar, the tubs come in Blueberry Hemp, Mango Turmeric, and Natural, meaning they’re not only healthy, but taste delicious too.
