Your Say: Goals to Make for 2021

I’d name my autobiography… On The Go.
With my three kids and working full-time for the past 10 years, I haven’t really stopped!

To me success means…
Being able to achieve my goals. Career goals, life goals and personal things I want to achieve. When I get there, I make sure I have a quick breath, feel the gratitude and look to the horizon for the next possibility.

I made my first dollar:
I did all sorts of things to make money when I was younger, from working in Dad’s factory, teaching kids how to ride horses, to running markets. I’m not sure where the first dollar came from but I was certainly chasing it, whatever I was doing.

The most rewarding part of my job…
When a family comes to me with no idea what they’re looking for and I match them up with the perfect house, is a really great feeling.
I really enjoy what I do. I think that’s essential, real estate is not for the faint-hearted! It’s challenging and competitive, and these are both things I really enjoy.

Life motto:
Do what you love. Once you find that thing, go with your gut feeling and stick at it.

My goals for the next 12 months are…
Keep growing my real estate company, keep selling houses and learn more about everything! And try to get a bit more family time in there too.

Diversity in the workplace is…
A must! Personally, I live with my three boys and partner Jackson, so it nice to have my female employees at work for a bit of balance!

The change I want to see in the next 12 months is…
For there to be a greater prevellance of compassion and kindness. It seems like New Zealand is doing well on this front compared to the rest of the world, which I’m thankful for.
